Disney's The Song of the South

After a quick google for Disney's Song of the South, I found this website, http://www.songofthesouth. net/home.html. It is dedicated to "celebrating and preserving this Walt Disney classic." The webpage opens with this quote from Walt Disney: "The first books I ever read were the Uncle Remus stories.Ever since then, these storieshave been my special favorites.I've just been waiting untilI could develop the proper mediumto bring them to the screen." The page also boasts of a petition to rerelease the film; 105, 089 people have signed as of today. I will check out the site further and post my analysis... but as you can see from the pictures, the sterotypes are pretty obvious.
